Since attaining his Juris Doctorate degree from DePaul University in 2017, Attorney Micah Reeves has become a passionate advocate for victims of Illinois nursing home abuse victims. Along with the rest of the team at Schwartz Injury Law, he strives to help his clients recover as much compensation as possible for their damages, including by addressing Medicare liens and other impediments that detract from an injury victim's portion of a settlement or verdict.

After passing the Illinois Bar Exam, Micah began his legal career as the First Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Clare Elizabeth McWilliams, Presiding Judge of the Asbestos Litigation Docket and Jury Trial Judge for the Law Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County, one of the largest court systems in the country. During his clerkship, Micah managed a portfolio of more than 500 active cases, authored numerous draft orders related to dispositive and post-trial motions, and helped create the electronic filing update for the Asbestos Litigation Docket deferred case registry. He also developed Judge McWilliams’ trial, motion call, and standing order schedules. Micah now uses the valuable experience he gained during his clerkship in helping his own clients obtain the justice they deserve.
